A Patch, An Honor, A Duty!

As a leader in the Los Angles County Sheriff's Department I honorably commit myself to perform my duties with respect for the dignity of all people.  Integrity to do right and fight wrong.  Wisdom to apply common sense and fairness in all I do.  Courage to stand against racism, sexism,anti-Semitism, homophobia and bigotry in all it's forms.

I have earned my patch and the responsibility that comes along with it.  My I uphold it well and bring honor to the men and women who have died for it.
